[BR]七月二十一日，耶和华的话临到先知哈该说，In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,

你要晓谕犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯，和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚。并剩下的百姓，说，Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
你们中间存留的，有谁见过这殿从前的荣耀呢。现在你们看着如何。岂不在眼中看如无有吗。Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
耶和华说，所罗巴伯阿，虽然如此，你当刚强。约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚阿，你也当刚强。这地的百姓，你们都当刚强做工，因为我与你们同在。这是万军之耶和华说的。Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
这是照着你们出埃及我与你们立约的话。那时，我的灵住在你们中间。你们不要惧怕。According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
万军之耶和华如此说，过不多时，我必再一次震动天地，沧海，与旱地。For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
我必震动万国。万国的珍宝必都运来（或作万国所羡慕的必来到），我就使这殿满了荣耀。这是万军之耶和华说的。And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
这殿后来的荣耀，必大过先前的荣耀。在这地方我必赐平安。这是万军之耶和华说的。The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
大流士王第二年，九月二十四日，耶和华的话临到先知哈该说，In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
