松树阿，应当哀号，因为香柏树倾倒，佳美的树毁坏。巴珊的橡树阿，应当哀号，因为茂盛的树林已经倒了。Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
听阿，有牧人哀号的声音，因他们荣华的草场毁坏了。有少壮狮子咆哮的声音，因约旦河旁的丛林荒废了。There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
买他们的宰了他们，以自己为无罪。卖他们的说，耶和华是应当称颂的，因我成为富足。牧养他们的并不怜恤他们。Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
耶和华说，我不再怜恤这地的居民。必将这民交给各人的邻舍，和他们王的手中。他们必毁灭这地，我也不救这民脱离他们的手。For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
于是，我牧养这将宰的群羊，就是群中最困苦的羊。我拿着两根杖。一根我称为荣美，一根我称为联索。这样，我牧养了群羊。And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
我就说，我不牧养你们。要死的，由他死。要丧亡的，由他丧亡。馀剩的，由他们彼此相食。Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
