左咡

耶和华选召我，使我不跟从羊群，对我说，你去向我民以色列说预言。And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

左咡

亚玛谢阿，现在你要听耶和华的话。你说，不要向以色列说预言，也不要向以撒家滴下预言。Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.

左咡

所以耶和华如此说，你的妻子必在城中作妓女，你的儿女必倒在刀下，你的地必有人用绳子量了分取，你自己必死在污秽之地，以色列民定被掳去离开本地。Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

[BR]主耶和华又指示我一件事。我看见一筐夏天的果子。Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.

左咡

[BR]他说，阿摩司阿，你看见什么。我说，看见一筐夏天的果子。耶和华说，我民以色列的结局到了。我必不再宽恕他们。And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

左咡

主耶和华说，那日，殿中的诗歌变为哀号。必有许多尸首在各处抛弃，无人作声。And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

左咡

你们这些要吞吃穷乏人，使困苦人衰败的，当听我的话。Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

左咡

你们说，月朔几时过去，我们好卖粮。安息日几时过去，我们好摆开麦子，卖出用小升斗，收银用大戥子，用诡诈的天平欺哄人。Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

左咡

好用银子买贫寒人，用一双鞋换穷乏人，将坏了的麦子卖给人。That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

左咡

耶和华指着雅各的荣耀起誓说，他们的一切行为，我必永远不忘。The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.
