左咡

所以我说，且在主里确实的说，你们行事，不要再像外邦人存虚妄的心行事。
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

左咡

他们心地昏昧，与神所赐的生命隔绝了，都因自己无知，心里刚硬。 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

左咡

良心既然丧尽，就放纵私欲，贪行种种的污秽。
Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

左咡

你们学了基督，却不是这样。
But ye have not so learned Christ;

左咡

如果你们听过他的道，领了他的教，学了他的真理，
If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

左咡

就要脱去你们从前行为上的旧人。这旧人是因私欲的迷惑，渐渐变坏的。
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

左咡

又要将你们的心志改换一新。
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

左咡

并且穿上新人。这新人是照着神的形像造的，有真里的仁义，和圣洁。
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness

左咡

所以你们要弃绝谎言，各人与邻舍说实话。因为我们是互相为肢体。
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

左咡

生气却不要犯罪。不可含怒到日落。
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
