彼得又不承认。过了不多的时候，旁边站着的人又对彼得说，你真是他们一党的。因为你是加利利人。And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.

彼得就发咒起誓的说，我不认得你们说的这个人。But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

立时鸡叫了第二遍。彼得想起耶稣对他所说的话，鸡叫两遍以先，你要三次不认我。思想起来，就哭了。And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

一到早晨，祭司长和长老文士全公会的人大家商议，就把耶稣捆绑解去，交给彼拉多。And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.

彼拉多问他说，你是犹太人的王吗。耶稣回答说，你说的是。And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it.

祭司长告他许多的事。And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.

彼拉多又问他说，你看，他们告你这吗多的事，你什么都不回答吗。And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee.

耶稣仍不回答，以致彼拉多觉得希奇。But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.
