这都因雅各的罪过，以色列家的罪恶。雅各的罪过在哪里呢。岂不是在撒玛利亚吗。犹大的邱坛在哪里呢，岂不是在耶路撒冷吗。For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

所以，我必使撒玛利亚变为田野的乱堆，又作为种葡萄之处。也必将她的石头倒在谷中，露出根基来。Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

[BR]她一切雕刻的偶像必被打碎，她所得的财物必被火烧，所有的偶像我必毁灭。因为是从妓女雇价所聚来的，后必归为妓女的雇价。And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

先知说，因此我必大声哀号，赤脚露体而行。又要呼号如野狗，哀呜如鸵鸟。Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

左咡

因为撒玛利亚的伤痕无法医治，延及犹大和耶路撒冷我民的城门。For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

左咡

不要在迦特报告这事，总不要哭泣。我在伯亚弗拉辊于灰尘之中。Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.

左咡

沙斐的居民哪，你们要赤身蒙羞过去。撒南的居民不敢出来。伯以薛人的哀哭，使你们无处可站。Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.

玛律的居民心甚忧急，切望得好处，因为灾祸从耶和华那里临到耶路撒冷的城门。For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

左咡

拉吉的居民哪，要用快马套车。锡安民（民原文作女子）的罪由你而起。以色列人的罪过在你那里显出。O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.

犹大阿，你要将礼物送给摩利设迦特。亚革悉的众族，必用诡诈待以色列诸王。Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
