左咡

他们就大大的惧怕，彼此说，这到底是谁，连风和海也听从他了。And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

左咡

[BR]他们来到海边，格拉森人的地方。And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

左咡

耶稣一下船，就有一个被污鬼咐着的人，从坟茔里出来迎着他。And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

左咡

那人常住在坟茔里，没有人能捆住他，就是用铁链也不能。Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:

左咡

因为人屡次用脚镣和铁链捆锁他，铁链竟被他挣断了，脚镣也被他弄碎了。总没有人能制伏他。Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

左咡

他昼夜常在坟茔里和山中喊叫，又用石头砍自己。And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

左咡

他远远的看见耶稣，就跑过去拜他。But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

左咡

大声呼叫说，至高神的儿子耶稣，我与你有什么相干。我指着神恳求你，不要叫我受苦。And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

左咡

是因耶稣曾吩咐他说，污鬼阿，从这人身上出来吧。For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

左咡

耶稣问他说，你名叫什么。回答说，我名叫群，因为我们多的缘故。And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
