你要告诉犹大省长所罗巴伯说，我必震动天地。Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

左咡

我必倾覆列国的宝座，除灭列邦的势力，并倾覆战车，和坐在其上的。马必跌倒，骑马的败落，各人被弟兄的刀所杀。And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

万军之耶和华说，我仆人撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯阿，到那日，我必以你为印，因我拣选了你。这是万军之耶和华说的。In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.

[BR]大流士王第二年八月，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子，比利家的儿子，先知撒迦利亚，说，In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

耶和华曾向你们列祖大大发怒。The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.

左咡

所以你要对以色列人说，万军之耶和华如此说，你们要转向我，我就转向你们。这是万军之耶和华说的。Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

左咡

不要效法你们列祖。从前的先知呼叫他们说，万军之耶和华如此说，你们要回头，离开你们的恶道恶行。他们却不听，也不顺从我。这是耶和华说的。Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.

你们的列祖在哪里呢。那些先知能永远存活吗。Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?

左咡

只是我的言语和律例，就是所吩咐我仆人众先知的，岂不临到你们列祖吗。他们就回头，说，万军之耶和华定意，按我们的行动作为，向我们怎样行，他已照妖行了。But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
