你要尽心，尽性，尽意，尽力，爱主你的神。And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

其次，就是说，要爱人如己。再没有比这两条诫命更大的了。And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

[BR]那文士对耶稣说，夫子说，神是一位，实在不错。除了他以外，再没有别的神。And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

并且尽心，尽智，尽力，爱他，又爱人如己，就比一切燔祭，和各样祭祀，好的多。And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices

耶稣见他回答的有智慧，就对他说，你离神的国不远了。从此以后，没有人敢再问他什么。And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

耶稣在殿里教训人，就问他们说，文士怎样说，基督是大卫的子孙呢。And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?

大卫被圣灵感动说，主对我主说，你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌作你的脚凳。For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

大卫既自己称他为主，他怎吗又是大卫的子孙呢。众人都喜欢听他。David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

耶稣在教训之间，说，你们要防备文士，他们好穿长衣游行，喜爱人在街市上问他们的安，And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

又喜爱会堂里的高位筵席上的首座。And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
