你们听见打仗，和打仗的风声，不要惊慌。这些事是必须有的，只是末期还没有到。And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
民要攻打民，国要攻打国，多处必有地震，饥荒。这都是灾难的起头。（灾难原文作生产之苦）For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
但你们要谨慎。因为人要把你们交给公会，并且你们在会堂里要受鞭打。又为我的缘故，站在诸侯与君王面前，对他们作见证。But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
人把你们拉去交官的时候，不要豫先思虑说什么。到那时候，赐给你们什么话，你们就说什么，因为说话的不是你们，乃是圣灵。But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
弟兄要把弟兄，父亲要把儿子，送到死地。儿女要起来与父母为敌，害死他们。Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
你们看见那行毁坏可憎的，站在不当站的地方。（读这经的人，须要会意）那时在犹太的，应当逃到山上。But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
