恐怕他忽然来到，看见你们睡着了。Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

我对你们所说的话，也是对众人说，要儆醒。And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

[BR]过两天是逾越节，又是除酵节。祭司长和文士，想法子怎吗用诡计捉拿耶稣杀他。After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

只是说，当节的日子不可，恐怕百姓生乱。But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.

耶稣在伯大尼长大麻疯的西门家里坐席的时候，有一个女人，拿着一玉瓶至贵的真哪哒香膏来，打破玉瓶，把香膏浇在耶稣的头上。And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head

有几个人心中很不喜悦，说，何用这样枉费香膏呢。And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

左咡

这香膏可以卖三十多两银子周济穷人。他们就向那女人生气。For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

左咡

耶稣说，由他吧。为什么难为他呢。他在我身上作的是一件美事。And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

因为常有穷人和你们同在，要向他们行善，随时都可以。只是你们不常有我。For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

他所作的，是尽他所能的。他是为我安葬的事，把香膏豫先浇在我身上。She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.
