左咡

这些事门徒一样也不懂得，意思乃是隐藏的，他们不晓得所说的是什吗。And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

耶稣将近耶利哥的时候，有一个瞎子坐在路旁讨饭。And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

听见许多人经过，就问是什么事。And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

左咡

他们告诉他，是拿撒勒人耶稣经过。And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

左咡

他就呼叫说，大卫的子孙耶稣阿，可怜我吧。And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.

左咡

在前头走的人，就责备他，不许他作声。他却越发喊叫说，大卫的子孙，可怜我吧。And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

左咡

耶稣站住，吩咐把他领过来。到了跟前，就问他说，And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,

左咡

你要我为你作什么。他说，主阿，我要能看见。Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

左咡

耶稣说，你可以看见。你的信救了你了。And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

左咡

瞎子立刻看见了，就跟随耶稣，一路归荣耀与神。众人看见这事，也赞美神。And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
