左咡

倘若你们在不义的钱财上不忠心，谁还把那真实的钱财托付你们呢。If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

左咡

倘若你们在别人的东西上不忠心，谁还把你们自己的东西给你们呢。And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

左咡

一个仆人不能事奉两个主。不是恶这个爱那个，就是重这个轻那个。你们不能又事奉神，又事奉玛门。No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

左咡

法利赛人是贪爱钱财的，他们听见这一切话，就嗤笑耶稣。And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

[BR]就是把磨石拴在这人的颈项上，丢在海里，还强如他把这小子里的一个绊倒了。It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

[BR]耶稣又对门徒说，绊倒人的事是免不了的。但那绊倒人的有祸了。Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon

神就转脸不顾，任凭他们事奉天上的日月星辰，正如先知书上所写的说，以色列家阿，你们四十年间在旷野，岂是将牺牲和祭物献给我吗。
Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness
