[BR]这样说来，犹太人有什么长处，割礼有什么益处呢。What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision

因为外面作犹太人的，不是真犹太人，外面肉身的割礼，也不是真割礼。For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh

惟有里面作的，才是真犹太人。真割礼也是心里的，在乎灵，不在乎仪文。这人的称赞不是从人来的，乃是从神来的。But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God

祭司长，和犹太人的首领，向他控告保罗，Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and besought him,

[BR]又央告他，求他的情，将保罗提到耶路撒冷来。他们要在路上埋伏杀害他。
[BR]And desired favour against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him.

[BR]非斯都却回答说，保罗押在凯撒利亚，我自己快要往那里去。
[BR]But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself would depart shortly thither.

[BR]保罗来了，那些从耶路撒冷下来的犹太人，周围站着，将许多重大的事控告他，都是不能证实的。
[BR]And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.

[BR]保罗分诉说，无论犹太人的律法，或是圣殿，或是凯撒，我都没有干犯。
[BR]While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all.

[BR]但非斯都要讨犹太人的喜欢，就问保罗说，你愿意上耶路撒冷去，在那里听我审断这事吗。
[BR]But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?

[BR]保罗说，我站在凯撒的堂前，这就是我应当受审的地方。我向犹太人并没有行过什么不义的事，这也是你明明知道的。
[BR]Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.
