惟有神能照我传的福音，和所讲的耶稣基督，并照永古隐藏不言的奥秘，坚固你们的心。Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

这奥秘如今显明出来，而且按着永生神的命，藉众先知的书指示万国的民，使他们信服真道。But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

我从前说过，如今不在你们那里又说，正如我第二次见你们的时候所说的一样，就是对那犯罪的，和其馀的人说，我若再来必不宽容。I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:

你们既然寻求基督在我里面说话的凭据，我必不宽容因为基督在你们身上，不是软弱的。在你们里面，是有大能的。Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you

他因软弱被钉在十字架上，却因神的大能，仍然活着。我们也是这样同他软弱，但因神向你们所显的大能，也必与他同活。For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
