摩西又说，耶和华晚上必给你们肉吃，早晨必给你们食物得饱，因为你们向耶和华发的怨言，他都听见了。我们算什么，你们的怨言不是向我们发的，乃是向耶和华发的。
And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD

摩西对亚伦说，你告诉以色列全会众说，你们就近耶和华面前，因为他已经听见你们的怨言了。
And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings

亚伦正对以色列全会众说话的时候，他们向旷野观看，不料，耶和华的荣光在云中显现。
And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud

耶和华晓谕摩西说，
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying

我已经听见以色列人的怨言。你告诉他们说，到黄昏的时候，你们要吃肉，早晨必有食物得饱，你们就知道我是耶和华你们的神。

I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God

到了晚上，有鹌鹑飞来，遮满了营，早晨在营四围的地上有露水。
And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host

露水上升之后，不料，野地面上有如白霜的小圆物。

And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground

以色列人看见，不知道是什么，就彼此对问说，这是什么呢。摩西对他们说，这就是耶和华给你们吃的食物。

And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat

耶和华所吩咐的是这样，你们要按着各人的饭量，为帐棚里的人，按着人数收起来，各拿一俄梅珥。

This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents

以色列人就这样行，有多收的，有少收的。

And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less
