他怜悯敬畏他的人，直到世世代代。And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

他用膀臂施展大能。那狂傲的人，正心里妄想，就被他赶散了。He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

他叫有权柄的失位，叫卑贱的升高。He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

叫饥饿的得饱美食，叫富足的空手回去。He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

他扶助了他的仆人以色列，He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

为要记念亚伯拉罕和他的后裔，施怜悯，直到永远，正如从前对我们列祖所说的话。As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

马利亚和伊利莎白同住，约有三个月，就回家了。And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house.

伊利莎白的产期到了，就生了一个儿子。Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.

邻里亲族，听见主向他大施怜悯，就和他一同欢乐。And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.

到了第八日，他们来要给孩子行割礼。并要照他父亲的名字，叫他撒迦利亚。And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
