倘若那恶仆心里说，我的主人必来得迟，But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

左咡

就动手打他的同伴，又和酒醉的人一同吃喝。And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

左咡

在想不到的日子，不知道的时辰，那仆人的主人要来，The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

左咡

重重的处治他，（或作把他腰斩了）定他和假冒为善的人同罪。在那里必要哀哭切齿了。And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

[BR]那时，天国好比十个童女，拿着灯，出去迎接新郎。Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

其中有五个是愚拙的。五个是聪明的。And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

左咡

愚拙的拿着灯，却不豫备油。They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

左咡

聪明的拿着灯，又豫备油在器皿里。But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

左咡

新郎迟延的时候，他们都打盹睡着了。While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

左咡

半夜有人喊着说，新郎来了，你们出来迎接他。And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
