左咡

耶稣切切的嘱咐他们，不可将这事告诉人。And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;

左咡

又说，人子必须受许多的苦，被长老祭司长和文士弃绝，并且被杀，第三日复活。Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

左咡

耶稣又对众人说，若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，天天背起他的十字架来，跟从我。And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

左咡

因为凡要救自己生命的，生命或作灵魂下同必丧掉生命。凡为我丧掉生命的，必救了生命。For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

左咡

人若赚得全世界，却丧了自己，赔上自己，有什么益处呢。For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

左咡

凡把我和我的道当作可耻的，人子在自己的荣耀里，并天父与圣天使的荣耀里，降临的时候，也要把那人当作可耻的。For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

我实在告诉你们，站在这里的，有人在没尝死味以前，必看见神的国。But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

左咡

说了这话以后，约有八天，耶稣带着彼得，约翰，雅各，上山去祷告。And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

左咡

正祷告的时候，他的面貌就改变了，衣服洁白放光。And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

忽然有摩西以利亚两个人，同耶稣说话。And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
