左咡

这样，你们无论什么人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的门徒。So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

左咡

盐本是好的，盐若失了味，可用什么叫他再咸呢。Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

或用在田里，或堆在粪里，都不合式。只好丢在外面。有耳可听的，就应当听。It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

[BR]众税吏和罪人，都挨近耶稣要听他讲道。Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

左咡

法利赛人和文士，私下议论说，这个人接待罪人，又同他们吃饭。And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

左咡

耶稣就用比喻，说，And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

你们中间谁有一百只羊，失去一只，不把这九十九只撇在旷野，去找那失去的羊直到找着呢。What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

左咡

找着了，就欢欢喜喜的扛在肩上，回到家里。And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

左咡

就请朋友邻舍来，对他们说，我失去的羊已经找着了，你们和我一起欢喜吧。And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

我告诉你们，一个罪人悔改，在天上也要这样为他欢喜，较比为九十九个不用悔改的义人，欢喜更大。I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
