[BR]凡不听从那先知的，必要从民中全然灭绝。
[BR] And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people

从撒母耳以来的众先知，凡说预言的，也都说到这些日子。

 
Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days

你们是先知的子孙，也承受神与你们祖宗所立的约，就是对亚伯拉罕说，地上万族，都要因你的后裔得福。
Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed

神既兴起他的仆人，（或作儿子）就先差他到你们这里来，赐福给你们，叫你们各人回转，离开罪恶。
Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities

使徒对百姓说话的时候，祭司们和守殿官，并撒都该人，忽然来了。
And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them

因他们教训百姓，本着耶稣，传说死人复活，就很烦恼。
Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead

于是下手拿住他们。因为天已经晚了，就把他们押到第二天。
And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide

但听道之人，有许多信的，男丁数目，约有五千。
Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand

第二天，官府，长老，和文士，在耶路撒冷聚会。
And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes

又有大祭司亚那，和该亚法，约翰，亚历山大，并大祭司的亲族都在那里。
And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem
