左咡

不可叫你的善被人毁谤。Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

左咡

因为神的国，不在乎吃喝，只在乎公义，和平，并圣灵中的喜乐。For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

左咡

在这几样上服事基督的，就为神所喜悦，又为人所称许。For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

左咡

所以我们务要追求和睦的事，与彼此建立德行的事。Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

左咡

不可因食物毁坏神的工程。凡物固然洁净，但有人因食物叫人跌倒，就是他的罪了。For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

左咡

无论是吃肉，是喝酒，是什么别的事，叫弟兄跌倒，一概不作才好。It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

左咡

断乎不可。我们在罪上死了的人，岂可仍在罪中活着呢。God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

左咡

[BR]岂不知我们这受洗归入基督耶稣的人，是受洗归入他的死吗。
[BR]Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

左咡

[BR]所已，我们藉着洗礼归入死，和他一同埋葬，原是叫我们一举一动有新生的样式，像基督藉着父的荣耀从死里复活一样。
[BR]Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

[BR]我们若在他死的形状上与他联合，也要在他复活的形状上与他联合。
[BR]For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
