左咡

[BR]既然如此，那良善的是叫我死吗。断乎不是。叫我死的乃是罪。但罪藉着那良善的叫我死，就显出真是罪。叫罪因着诫命更显出是恶极了。
[BR]Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful

[BR]我们原晓得律法是属乎灵的，但我是属乎肉体的，是已经卖给罪了。
[BR]For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

左咡

[BR]因为我所作的，我自己不明白。我所愿意的，我并不作。我所恨恶的，我倒去作。
[BR]For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

左咡

[BR]若我所作的，是我所不愿意的，我就应承律法是善的。
[BR]If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

左咡

[BR]既是这样，就不是我作的，乃是住在我里头的罪作的。
[BR]Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

左咡

[BR]我也知道，在我里头，就是我肉体之中，没有良善。因为立志为善由得我，只是行出来由不得我。
[BR]For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

左咡

[BR]故此，我所愿意的善，我反不作。我所不愿意的恶，我倒去作。
[BR]For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

左咡

[BR]若我去作所不愿意作的，就不是我作的，乃是住在我里头的罪作的。
[BR]Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

左咡

[BR]我觉得有个律，就是我愿意为善的时候，便有恶与我同在。
[BR]I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

左咡

[BR]因为按着我里面的意思。（原文作人）我是喜欢神的律。
[BR]For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
