左咡

因为凡要救自己生命的，（生命或作灵魂下同）必丧掉生命。凡为我丧掉生命的，必得着生命。For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

左咡

人若赚得全世界，赔上自己的生命，有什么益处呢。人还能拿什么换生命呢。For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

左咡

人子要在他父的荣耀里，同着众使者降临。那时候，他要照各人的行为报应各人。For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

左咡

我实在告诉你们，站在这里的人，有人在没尝死味以前，必看见人子降临在他的国里。Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

[BR]过了六天，耶稣带着彼得，雅各，和雅各的兄弟约翰，暗暗的上了高山。And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

就在他们面前变了形像。脸面明亮如日头，衣裳洁白如光。And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

左咡

忽然有摩西，以利亚，向他们显现，同耶稣说话。And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

左咡

彼得对耶稣说，主阿，我们在这里真好。你若愿意，我就在这里搭三座棚，一座为你，一座为摩西，一座为以利亚。Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

说话之间，忽然有一朵光明的云彩遮盖他们。且有声音从云彩里出来说，这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。你们要听他。While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

门徒听见，就俯伏在地，极其害怕。And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
