耶稣说，你们有多少饼。他们说，有七个，还有几条小鱼。And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

他就吩咐众人坐在地上。And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

左咡

拿着这七个饼和几条鱼，祝谢了，擘开，递给门徒。门徒又递给众人。And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

众人都吃并且吃饱了。收拾剩下的零碎，装满了七个筐子。And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

吃的人，除了妇女孩子，共有四千。And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

耶稣叫众人散去，就上船，来到马加丹的境界。And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

[BR]法利赛人和撒都该人，来试探耶稣，请他从天上显个神迹给他们看。The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

耶稣回答说，晚上天发红，你们就说，天必要晴。He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

早晨天发红，又发黑，你们就说，今日必有风雨。你们知道分辨天上的气色，倒不能分辨这时候的神迹。And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

一个邪恶淫乱的世代求神迹，除了约拿的神迹以外，再没有神迹给他看。耶稣就离开他们去。A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
