左咡

耶稣对众人说，你们要努力进窄门。我告诉你们，将来有许多人想要进去，却是不能。Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

左咡

及至家主起来关了门，你们站在外面叩门，说，主阿，给我们开门，他就回答说，我不认识你们，不晓得你们是那里来的。When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

那时，你们要说，我们在你面前吃过喝过，你也在我们街上教训过人。Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

左咡

他要说，我告诉你们，我不晓得你们是那里来的。你们这切作恶的人，离开我去吧。But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

左咡

你们要看见亚伯拉罕，以撒，雅各，和众先知，都在神的国里，你们却被赶到外面。在那里必要哀哭切齿了。There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

从东，从西，从南，从北，将有人来，在神的国里坐席。And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

左咡

只是有在后的将要在前，有在前的将要在后。And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

左咡

正当那时，有几个法利赛人来对耶稣说，离开这里去吧。因为希律想要杀你。The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

左咡

耶稣说，你们去告诉那个狐狸说，今天明天我赶鬼治病，第三天我的事就成全了。And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

左咡

虽然这样，今天明天后天我必须前行。因为先知在耶路撒冷之外丧命是不能的。Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
