管会堂的，因为耶稣在安息日治病，就气忿忿的对众人说，有六日应当作工。那六日之内，可以来求医，在安息日却不可。And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

主说，假冒为善的人哪，难道你们各人在安息日不解开槽上的牛驴，牵去饮吗。The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

况且这女人本是亚伯拉罕的后裔，被撒但捆绑了这十八年，不当在安息日解开他的绑吗。And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

左咡

耶稣说这话，他的敌人都惭愧了。众人因他所行一切荣耀的事，就都欢喜了。And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

耶稣说，神的国，好像什么。我拿什么来比较呢。Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

好像一粒芥菜种，有人拿去种在园子里。长大成树，天上的飞鸟，宿在他的枝上。It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

又说，我拿什么来比神的国呢。And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

好比面酵，有妇人拿来藏在三斗面里，直等全团都发起来。It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

耶稣往耶路撒冷去，在所经过的各城各乡教训人。And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

有一个人问他说，主阿，得救的人少吗。Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
