因为你们的财宝在那里，你们的心也在那里。For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

你们腰里要束上带，灯也要点着。Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

左咡

自己好像仆人等候主人，从婚姻的筵席上回来。他来到叩门，就立刻给他开门。And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

左咡

主人来了，看见仆人儆醒，那仆人就有福了。我实在告诉你们，主人必叫他们坐席，自己束上带，进前伺候他们。Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

或是二更天来，或是三更天来，看见仆人这样，那仆人就有福了。And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

左咡

你们这小群，不要惧怕，因为你们的父，乐意把国赐给你们。Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

你想百合花，怎吗长起来。他也不劳苦，也不纺线。然而我告诉你们，就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的，还不如这花一朵呢。Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

你们这小信的人哪，野地里的草，今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给他这样的妆饰，何况你们呢。If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

你们不要求吃什么，喝什么，也不要挂心。And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

左咡

这都是外邦人所求的，你们必须用这些东西，你们的父是知道的。For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
