左咡

他必兴旺，我必衰微。He must increase, but I must decrease.

左咡

从天上来的，是在万有之上。从地上来的，是属乎地，他所说的，也是属乎地从天上来的，是在万有之上。He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

左咡

他将所见所闻的见证出来，只是没有人领受他的见证。And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

左咡

那领受他见证的，就印上印，证明神是真的。He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

左咡

神所差来的，就说神的话。因为神赐圣灵给他，是没有限量的。For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

父爱子，已将万有交在他手里。The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

[BR]信子的人有永生。不信子的人得不着永生，（原文作不得见永生）神的震怒常在他身上。He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

[BR]主知道法利赛人听见他收门徒施洗比约翰还多，When therefore the LORD knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

（其实不是耶稣亲自施洗，乃是他的门徒施洗）(Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

他就离了犹太，又往加利利去。He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
