[BR]耶稣说，我不是拣选了你们十二个门徒吗，但你们中间有一个是魔鬼。
[BR]Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil

[BR]耶稣这话是指着加略人西门的儿子犹大说的。他本是十二个门徒里的一个，后来要卖耶稣的。
[BR]He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve

[BR]这事以后，耶稣在加利利游行，不愿在犹太游行。因为犹太人想要杀他。
[BR]After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him

当时犹太人的住棚节近了。Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand

耶稣的弟兄就对他说，你离开这里上犹太去吧，叫你的门徒也看见你所行的事。His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest

[BR]人要显扬名声，没有在暗处行事的。你如果行这事，就当将自己显明给世人看。
[BR]For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world

[BR]因为连他的弟兄说这话，是因为不信他。
[BR]For neither did his brethren believe in him

左咡

[BR]耶稣就对他们说，我的时候还没有到。你们的时候常是方便的。
[BR]Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready

左咡

[BR]世人不能恨你们，却是恨我。因为我指证他们所作的事是恶的。
[BR]The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil

[BR]你们上去过节吧。我现在不上去过这节。因为我的时候还没有满。
[BR]Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come
