我却认识他。因为我是从他来的，他也差了我来。But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me

左咡

他们就想要捉拿耶稣。只是没有人下手，因为他的时候还没有到。Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come

左咡

但众人中间有些信他的，说，基督来的时候，他所行的神迹，岂能比这人所行的更多吗。And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?

左咡

法利赛人听见众人为耶稣这样纷纷议论，祭司长和法利赛人，就打发差役去捉拿他。The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

左咡

于是耶稣说，我还有不多的时候和你们同在，以后就回到差我来的那里去。Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.

左咡

你们要找我，却找不着。我所在的地方你们不能到。Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

左咡

犹太人就彼此对问说，这人要往那里去，叫我们找不着呢。难道他要往散住希腊中的犹太人那里去教训希腊人吗。Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

左咡

他说，你们要找我，却找不着，我所在的地方，你们不能到。这话是什么意思呢。What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?

左咡

节期的末日，就是最大之日，耶稣站着高声说，人若渴了，可以到我这里来喝。In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

左咡

信我的人，就如经上所说，从他复中要流出活水的江河来。He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
